HUDSON MILLS METROPARK – JOURNEY TO THE SUGAR BUSH
Take a journey to the sugar bush and experience how maple sugar has been made over the years. Occurs Saturday, March 2,9, 16 and Sundays March 3,10 and 17th with tours at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and Noon. Plus, enjoy an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. Guided tour – $3 per person; pancake breakfast – $5.50 per adult/$3.50 per child. Breakfast is served from 9 am to 2 pm. Preregistration and prepayment required.

MICHIGAN’S VANISHING TRAIN STATIONS, ARCHITECTURE, HISTORY AND SENSE OF PLACE
Join Detroit News Fine Arts Writer and local author, Michael H. Hodges as he discusses his new book, “Michigan’s Historic Railroad Stations”. Learn the history of many of the historic, 19th century, stations along the Detroit-Chicago route and also some of the State’s architectural gems that are a part of farm towns and northern villages. Dexter’s own railroad station will be featured as well as a U.P, station that is up in Iron Mountain.

EASTER EGG HUNT – HUDSON MILLS METROPARK
Kids through the age of 12 are welcome to participate in a variety of activities such as enjoying the “Barnyard Express” show, getting their face painted and visiting with the Easter Bunny while waiting for their age group to be called. Tickets are $4 per child in advance and $6 per child at the door. Preregistration required.
