How you price your home will have a direct impact on how many buyers, showings, and offers you attract. It will also impact how easily it sells.

The location of your home is obviously fixed, and can work for or against you in pricing. The market doesn’t care what your home originally cost nor how much money you need for it. With these restrictions, what can you do to get the price you want?

The condition of your home can be improved by a staging consultation or a full-on staging service, which will help you present your home in its best light in order to create a positive first impression for buyers. Talk to your agent for more details about staging.

Price is evaluated like fishing. When you drop the line down and you don’t get any bites, it’s probably because you need to change the lure or move your line. We moved to Pinckney for a “small town with family oriented community that has lots of activities to offer (restaurants, movies in the park, parades, and holiday fun for example).

We moved to Honey Creek Meadows for a number of reasons including; great neighbors, quiet location and sidewalks for long walks. There are friendly people that help each other out. The fire hydrants are drained in the summer, the kids love to play in the water.

There are plenty of great restaurants in the area. We recommend: Pinckney Pub, Pinckney Diner, Pinckney Bakery, China House, Riverside Pizza, Jet’s Pizza and Cap’n Frosty.

Groceries are near by too, Kroger and Busch’s are very convenient.

There were many things that drew us to this home. The home is move-in ready, has a finished basement, it is a great neighborhood and is in a central location to town and the surrounding area, easy access to Detroit, Ann Arbor and Lansing. Pinckney is a family oriented community with good schools.

There is always something to do in our area, there are all kinds of sports available through the school system for the kids. We love to walk in Pinckney Park and take part in the activities that are offered there.

My husband and I moved to Whitmore Lake from the upper peninsula of Michigan, we were looking for an area with a small town feel but still have easy access to our areas of work and Whitmore Lake was the ideal place for us.

We moved to Eagle Garden Subdivision and have enjoyed the idea of it being a very safe area to live in, and the neighborhood is very family oriented. We enjoy seeing the kids around us getting on the bus just across the street, watching them play football and ride their bikes around the neighborhood. We enjoy going for walks with our dog or riding our bikes around the subdivision ourselves knowing we are in a safe area.

Living in Whitmore Lake we have easy access to the expressways or just going out to eat at the local restaurants. We can have anything we want to eat and be there within minutes of our home.

There were many things that drew us to this home. We like the size of the house. We like the privacy that nature provides in our back yard. It is very peaceful sitting on the deck during the summer watching the wildlife in the pond area. We are happy that no one can build a house behind us and future homeowners will be able to enjoy this feature also. Eagle Garden also has sidewalks, and a park just down the street which we enjoy.

Our home is efficient, the average cost for gas during the winter is approximately $120 per month, during the summer it is around $50.oo per month. Our average electric bill is around $80-$100 per month. We have a well, so we do not have a water bill. Economically it has been very reasonable to live here.
