There are plenty of activities in our community that we love to attend, Community Day is a long standing tradition with a huge parade in July. Local football games and the homecoming parade are popular too. Great fall spirit for games. Local organizations run little league programs. There is much to do for every age. We can bike from our country house into town. We have campgrounds, and plenty of peace and quiet.
Our favorite nearby restaurants are Papa’s Place, a family resturant, Joe’s Walnut Bar & Grill. Pirolli Park campground has pizza. Summerfield Market is a favorite for taco salads. Dundee has major shopping locations such as Kroger, Walgreens, Cabelas, Family Dollar and more. I also like to shop at Bob’s Market.
There were many things that drew us to this location, and chose to build our home here. The location is perfect for our home. We have lots of parties, people enjoy coming over and having a bonfire and listening to the crickets singing, and see the stars twinkling. The community is small, but has a big heart! We moved away, but had to come back to raise our children. It’s a safe community, with a great fire department.
Our pole barn is amazing! It has a loft for every storage need, it’s heated and has a cement floor. Wired for RV, and a great place to throw a party. We also have a pool, hot tub and beautiful stone patio.
