This Central Ann Arbor neighborhood – Fenwood, is just that type of neighborhood. Fenwood is situated in Central Ann Arbor but offers homes on tree lined streets. Homes here are generally large and offer a mix of different styles and ages – some homes date back as far as the 1940’s. Many properties are of a traditional style and are set back off the street amongst the trees.
Living here offers convenient access on foot or by bicycle to Burns Park, Downtown Restaurants, Shopping, U of M Central Campus, U of M Medical Centers and more! Close to this neighborhood are Trader Joe’s, Whole foods and Nichols Arboretum. So residents definitely don’t have to look very hard to find something to do!
Parents will be delighted that the neighborhoods central location means that it is zoned for acclaimed Ann Arbor schools. Those who would attend Burns Park Elementary can even walk to school!

A hop skip and a jump away is Zingerman’s Deli, Kerrytown, Kerrytown Farmers Market, Briarwood Mall, U of M campus, Medical Center and University of Michigan football games. Drive toVeteran’s Park for figure or hockey skating, baseball, sledding, swimming, or enjoy fresh produce at Plum Market or if you are looking for a fun afternoon out in the area, check out the Ann Arbor Hands On Museum for some great family fun! For some specialty items be sure to visit nearby Morgan and York with video. Ann Arbor is a great place to live – convenient for all, including the Detroit metro airport, which is around 30 minutes away! Remember to be sure to visit world famous Ann Arbor Arts Fairs held every July.
