Just recently we raved about how Dexter is the ultimate in small town living being a picturesque village nestled along the banks of the Huron River. With the city just boasting around 3,000 residents it is a great sized locality and benefits from being situated just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of Ann Arbor proper.

But if you are looking for a distinctly rural neighborhood which allows for a rural setting, with homes in a commutable  location while being neatly tucked away from the hustle and bustle then Park Lake could be perfect for you! This is definitely a true country neighborhood which has an abundance of deer and small wildlife around thanks to its beautiful quiet setting with plenty of walking areas on private and country roads.  There is no master deed nor restrictions.  The homes are located by Parks Lake North of Chamberlain, North of North Territorial Road.

While homes here tend to be older single family homes that were constructed many years ago they often benefit from large well manicured lots and are decent sizes inside – perfect for a growing family! Homes generally back onto woodland and some even back onto Park Lake! It is definitely a neighborhood where community is important.
