Park Lake Subdivision, Dexter, MI 48130; Dexter Real Estate

As we have said before, the Ann Arbor Metro area is such a great place to live, work and play! But many people are drawn to a more rural environment are enjoy  some areas like Dexter, MI. Just recently we raved about how Dexter is the ultimate in small town living being a picturesque village nestled along the banks of the Huron River. With the city just boasting around 3,000 residents it is a great sized locality and benefits from being situated just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of Ann Arbor proper.

But don’t fret, if you are looking for things to do, Dexter itself boasts a great set of its own amenities with restaurants, shopping, sailing, fishing, boating and more!

But if you are looking for a distinctly rural neighborhood which allows for a rural setting, with homes in a commutable  location while being neatly tucked away from the hustle and bustle then Park Lake could be perfect for you! This is definitely a true country neighborhood which has an abundance of deer and small wildlife around thanks to its beautiful quiet setting with plenty of walking areas on private and country roads.  There is no master deed nor restrictions.  The homes are located by Parks Lake North of Chamberlain, North of North Territorial Road.

While homes here tend to be older single family homes that were constructed many years ago they often benefit from large well manicured lots and are decent sizes inside – perfect for a growing family! Homes generally back onto woodland and some even back onto Park Lake! It is definitely a neighborhood where community is important. If you are looking to move here, it can be rare that homes in this area come up for sale, so if you are looking for that perfect family home in and around this part of Dexter then get in touch today!

With so much on offer, it is no wonder that people are looking to relocate to the area that is Dexter, MI.

Gallery Project Presents Food for Thought

Gallery Project presents Food for Thought, a multimedia exhibit in which over 27 local, regional, and national artists explore the complex and varied relationships people in American culture have with food.  Eating is one of life’s universal activities.  At its most basic level, food is essential to all life; without it, we would perish.  But food is more complex than that.  How food is defined, produced, processed and delivered is hightly intertwined with basic cultural values around money, power, politics, even religion.  Food defines our past, our present, and our future.  The opening reception is Friday, Nov. 4 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
